Hello,
Does anyone here know who I may speak too about group guitar classes? I've taught at Meadowlark in Acton and Gorman in Newhall and would like to teach at more schools.

Victoria-yes I actually talked to one of my kids teachers before school ended to ask her about the calendar as they took so long to agree. Turns out they looked at the days that alot of kids missed school and that Thanksgiving week is one of them. Crazy as I think we should just start school later and skip that fall break deal as I would much rather deal with it in the summer. But our kids are going to get use to constantly having "vacations" and that puts alot more pressure on us as parents, especially the ones who are trying to work or go back to work without daycare! We were the only district to not have 3 weeks at Christmas and I know all that do say after 2 weeks they are done. I guess we will all be int he same boat!

I just took a good look at the 2010-11 school year calendar. Lots of furlough days ... There is a Fall break, a Thanksgiving break (thanks to 3 furlough days), and 3 weeks off for Winter break, plus a Spring break.

Hi Everyone!

We are in need of books for the Reading Rainforest Library we have built in the school for parents and children.

Parents are able to check the books out to read to their children at home then return them the next day for others to enjoy or just sit in the library and read one of their favorite books to their child.

Although we have a lot of books, we still have empty shelves.

We are looking for book donations for ages 18mos-6th grade.

If you OR anyone you know has good used books that they no longer need, please send them my way.

Please tell your friends. Our goal is to have a full library by July.
