Guidelines in Using SCV-Family.com

Note: Due to the overwhelming interest in promoting local products, services and events, we will not be able to create content for individuals, businesses or non-profits. However, we are establishing a direct feed to Facebook that will share this content as it is created by members. 

Forum: The forum is the place to ask questions, solicit referrals and opinions, and even promote your business. We ask that you use the appropriate category:

Groups: Groups are a great place to find like-minded people, or those looking for others who live in the same area, have similar experiences, etc. to talk about topics that aren't necessarily for the main page. For example, Saugus moms who want to connect would meet in the Saugus group (or even Saugus District group), parents of special needs children can discuss ideas and concerns in a small, supportive environment and parents of teens can support each other in the Help! Blog: All members are welcome to create a blog post that will appear on the blog page. Featured blog posts will appear on the main page, determined by topic. Self-promotion posts will not be featured. Posts on health, beauty, fashion, parenting, self-improvement, fitness, food, etc. will be featured as they are posted. 

Events: We welcome everyone to create an event, however large or small. However, if your event lasts more than two days, we ask that you use the date the event begins and put the date range in the details. We can't have events sit at the top of the list for the duration of an event, if longer. For example, if you're having an event that goes from March 1 -31, use March 1 in the date column and the entire duration in the description. To see
